 Champanath is Worshipping place for lord Shiva. You will see small temple & a large main temple of linga with snakes around in it. Children's will probably enjoy more because it has a pond with full of big tortoise & Fishes. You can feed them as u wish, funny fact is that the tortoise eats LAYS (potato chips). U can go to this place as u comfortable with.

Prabhu Shri Champanath is an avatar of Lord Shiva. A really beautiful holy place. You will get a very good darshan here anytime. The mandir is very beautiful and well maintained. The most special thing about this place is the pond where fish and TORTOISE are there inside that. You can feed those tortoise and have fun with them. They are considered to be very holy and pure form and people believe they come to those who call them with a good and clear mind and heart. That’s all.
